The Crown Prince's head

I'm sad that Prince William is losing his hair. It looks like it's thinning a little. He was such a cute little boy and I can't picture him as a bald man. Not that there's anything wrong with a bald head. But on Prince William, there is. I just wanted him to keep his boyish looks forever. Hopefully the royal family has access to the top hair specialists to help him with his challenged hair follicles. I would think they would with their being royal and a family and all.

Really, I don't know for sure if he is losing his hair. But if he is: shucks and darn.

Lego fun

Ben had his cousins:

come over for a Lego party.
We ordered a 500 piece bulk lot off of Ebay. It doesn't look like 500 though. But it really is. I (sort of) counted. It's just a lot of small pieces. But it worked out perfectly. There were just enough wheels for everyone to make a car. And the guys to go with them. All the small unique parts came in handy for cool accessories.
Here's what Ollie came up with.

This is Elliott's car.

Ben's car.
Even Elli joined in. (She already had the girl Lego man.)
Then it was time to race them! I love how Ollie is floating in this picture.

Ollie's car won the most times!

Number 1 in something

I'm expecting a big shiny award medal soon. For Most Boring Blogger. I'm pretty sure I'm the winner. It's not easy being this boring. It takes guts. And sweat. Sweaty guts. Yeah, I've got that. I'll work on some posts. But don't you worry your little self about it. I'll make sure they'll be just as boring as all my other stuff. I need to keep my level of blandness nice and consistent.

Pictures of Will

Once upon a time, when I was single, I went to a ranch with my friend, Leslie, and some other single people. It was called Rockin' R Ranch. It's down in Antimone, UT. We slept in little cabins and ate food that they prepared. We could ride horses or just hang out at the lodge. (Is that the right word for a ranch building?) There was a cute little boy, with blond hair, around 6 or 7 years old who lived there. (His family ran the ranch.) When me and my friend would kick a soccer ball around he would come and kick it around with us. When the ball would go under the old wooden porch, he would crawl under and get it for us. Weren't we so nice to let him do that? He was a nice little gentlman. The first time we met him, me and my friend were playing pool. My friend asked him what his name was.
"Bubby."
"Buddy?"
"No, Bubby."
"Oh, Bobby."
"No, Bubby."
"Bubby?"
"Yeah."
And in my mind I wondered what many people would wonder: Who the h-e-c-k would name their kid Bubby?

Anyway, the point of this story is, now 13ish years later, I talk to my baby and sometimes the name "Bubby" comes out of my mouth. What?! I know. I think it's a mixture between baby (yes, I call my baby "Baby" sometimes) and buddy. Or sometimes I vary how I say the vowel in "baby" and strange things like "bubby" come out.

My baby is now 7 months old. His thing to do now is crawl. If you're holding him, he wants to get down and crawl. If he's on the ground, you better make sure there's nothing that you don't want him getting into on any floor in any room, cause he's everywhere. It's so fun to see him gain a new skill.

Will with his cousin Tyler

A few years ago, I was watching Leno and Ross the Intern went to the very same ranch in Antimone, UT. It showed the owners and I swear I saw a teenager Bubby! So crazy! Anyway, I've tried to catch myself when I say it and it's slowly going away from the subconscious vocabulary that flys out of my mouth.

Tongue twister

That last post reminded me, we have a tongue-twister in our house right now. I get mixed up a lot with these things. Here they are:
Boppy
Bilibo
Bumbo
Bumble

Boppy
Bilibo
Bumbo
Bumble

Bumble in Bumbo
Bilibo on Bumble
Come on, he loved it!

Boppybilibobumblebumbo

Bumbobumblebiliboboppy

Say that 5 times fast. I have been known to mix these items up regularly. Mostly I just call all of them Bumbo since that's the easiest to say. Even the cat. Or else I just say "the cat". But my kids know what I'm talking about! Except when they don't.

Bumble

Our kitty turned 1 a while ago. Here's what he's up to:
He likes to take computer lessons. Every time I'm on, he comes and watches and learns a thing or two.
He is getting very good at sitting up,
but he's not so good at sharing toys.
He likes to play with his little brother Will. But he usually stays a good distance from the grabbers.
He loves to find hiding places. (He used to fit all the way under here when he was littler. He doesn't realize that he's big now.)

He loves to read books. Well, really he loves to lay on books. Especially if it's the one we're reading.
Here are his "ready to pounce" eyes.
Even though he's still technically a kitten, he likes to pretend like he's an old man cat and sit in the rocker and reminisce about the old days when he could hide better.

Little whippersnappers

This is how all the young kids are watching TV these days.
Ollie and Addie
I guess it gives them that IMAX feel.
